You can process ownership change of General-Use .jp (e.g. example.jp) domains through the domain management tool.
Please log into your account and follow the instructions below.
1) Click the "Update WHOIS Information" button.
2) Click the "Advanced Search" button if you have many domains in your account.
3) Enter a domain name in the search box and click the "Search" button.
4) Click the check box of the domain.
5) Mark the checkbox of "Update Registrant Contact Information."
6) A blank form will appear. In case you would like to partly modify the currently registered information, click the domain name. Then the current information will be entered in the form automatically.
7) Enter new information and click the "Next" button. If you would like to use GMO's address, click the "Use Registered Information", click the "Use GMO Address" button. Then GMO's address will be entered automatically.
If you see a "Not entered" error message on the screen, please fill out all the required fields and click the "Next" button again.
8) Click the "Save Changes" button after you have confirmed all the information is correct.
