Local Presence Service

  • My customer wants to transfer out a domain name which is using GMO's Local Presence Service. Is it ok?
    If a domain name is using GMO's postal address for its registrant and/or public contact information, and if a transfer request is made by other registrar, it will automatically be disapproved by our system instantly. Our Local Presence Servic service is available only while the domain name is managed under GMO JP-DRS service. It is necessary for the customer to change the domain's registrant address to a different Japanese address before you let it transfer out.
